Minor Piercings

Can we pierce minors?

Yes, with proper documentation and their legal guardian present.

In the state of Georgia, minors are allowed
to get certain piercings with parental consent.

Our Standards

For the best interest of our young clients, we've established a minimum age of 10 years for piercings. This decision is based on concerns related to growth, as well as the potential for increased complications in young children.

For parents of children under 10 who are considering a piercing, we encourage you to contact Courtney via email or Instagram. She is more than happy to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding the process and your child's well-being. Our clients long-term health and happiness are our top priorities—taking precedence over all else.

Preparing for Your Child's Piercing

AGE

For everyone’s safety and comfort, we do not allow anyone under the age of 10 in the studio, so please leave small children at home. This policy is in place for both your safety and theirs, as well as ensuring a calm and safe environment for everyone in our shop. Recognizing the innate curiosity and boundless energy of children, especially in new surroundings, we, as parents too, are aware of how swiftly they can affect the calm atmosphere we strive to uphold in our shop which is why we've set this guideline.

EAT

We can't emphasize enough how important it is to arrive for your piercing with a full stomach. This helps provide the energy boost your body needs, helping to regulate blood sugar and promote the natural release of adrenaline, endorphins, and focus during the procedure.

It’s recommended to have a meal before getting pierced for several reasons related to maintaining your body’s energy levels, reducing the risk of fainting and nausea, and promoting an overall smoother experience. In general, eating before any body modification procedure is a good way to ensure your body is in a stable condition to handle the stress and potential discomfort of the experience.

HEALTH

If you have any health conditions or concerns that you believe might affect your ability to get a piercing, please reach out to Courtney with your concerns. She’s available via email or Instagram to answer any questions you may have.
